Parked next to one today and i actually really liked it! Funky looking car, proportioned just right.

Had a read up on them and obviously they aren't that quick being a 700cc but they sound a hoot to drive and supposedly able to be modded to 130bhp easily, and being light would be fun.

Anyone had any experience with one?

think they are about 10 secs to 60mph?

Erm, i know someone who had one and use to smack curbs quiet often with it as he had it chipped with a 'sick' dump valve.........anyways he wud boot it out of a junction, back end come out, crack another curb Thats about it.

Not a car i would look at after owning a z4

great fun to drive, not super quick but hold the road brilliantly. My dad got rid of his last year and i think i was more gutted than he was only let down is the gear box, can be a bit slow at times. Very good on fuel too

Not so good on a motorway.

I'd have one if I didn't need the boot space.

And cheap too! Some on Pistonheads for under £7k with less than 35000 miles

Mate's got one...

Auto box is the worst i have EVER used Really good on fuel no matter how you drive it...brakes are good...handling good and grip likes a good un.

As said they do leak! Mates was in 3 times for new seals and also his ECU give up the ghost

The exhaust note is really nice..like a boxster ish tone to it.He seems to be able to drive it pretty quick so maybe when you get used to it it's better? They certainly are unique.

Iv had a go and i hated it before i drove it , But fuck me, Its a fun car to drive. Some laugh and would be good in the summer.

Was in New York and saw one with a supercharger conversion. Only cost £2800 all in and the noise was like something out of star wars.

Im still considering getting one, There so much fun.

I have just sold my BRC after owning it for around two months, i had a silver one, my best mate has a black one, they both leak to the point where you get a pool under the passenger seat, which eventually starts to smell like wet dog and thus makes the car steam and condensate at every oppertunity. in the winter this freezes leaving you scraping the inside of your windscreen all the time. Both have been in for new seals with has not stopped the problem, its a fault with all roadsters.

The gear box, you think is 'livable' with so you put it with it, it then very quickly becomes annoying and start craving a manual car again. They feel quick as your arse is about 4 inches off the floor but seriously they arnt quick at all, about the same as a 1.4 corsa.

Plenty of better cars around imo.
