Hi again all. This isn't the first problem i've had with my clutch but the first time I've posted about it. I'm getting a strange creaking noise when pushing in. you can hear it from the pedal when the engine is on. you can hear it even louder from under the bonnet (even when shut) When the engine is off.
I've had trouble with gears before... Two cold nights i couldn't push the stick into 2nd or 4th gear properly, It would go in ever so slightly and still drive in the gears but would not go in all the way. I also havea really high biting point to the extent that my foot is almost completely off the pedal when the bite is finished.
This is a corsa b - 1.7 D and I've just noticed there is a rancid smell coming from the bonnet, not sure if it's related...
