Seriously just experiment, go on flickr, find a shot you like, try replicate it.

2 4gb cards is a bit crazy, i dont even fill one with my D300

I've got one 2GB card and one 1GB card. Good enough for 300 shots on my camera.

I started putting a few shots on CD, not sure how long a CD is good for though....
