Looking at getting a new tv from great universal as i can get it on my account.
Narrowed it down to this few.
Samsung PS42Q97HDX
Toshiba 42AV505D
Or go all out for this, a 50in Samsung monster

If you can stretch to it, definately the 50" monster. That would look amazing in any living room.

However, a television like that is pointless unless you have Sky HD or a blu-ray/HDDVD player.

plan would be to eventually get sky HD within the year anyway, but 50" call of duty sounds good 2 me
went for the Samsung PS50Q97HDX instead, delivery on the 17th of the month, blooming ages away

Go ahead and get the Samsung, you won't be disappointed. PS3 blu-ray dvds/games will look orgasmic.

1024x768, blu-ray's and high def games won't look that good because thats a square resolution on a widescreen tv.

to be honest its for my bedroom to play xbox on and watch sky tv mostly. screen size over quality of picture was more the choice for me
