got a corsa 1.6 sport had the car lowered 50mm on normal shocks couldnt afford the dampers...it seems really bouncy? will a set of low profile alloys lessen this slightly till i can afford the shocks?..i can get the alloys free

no it wont mate, will always feel like that unless the shocks etc are uprated from standard ones.

i see ok seen some £50 front shocks on ebay ill research them up

if u lower it say 50 or 60 mm on standard schock will it mess up the standard shocks???????

nah.my mates got 60ml springs on his and has got standard shocks,bit bouncy but no problems with the shock,

Yes, it will kill the shocks much faster than standard springs as they will condtantly bottom out.
Get shocks the same time as springs and fit the lot, or just fit 30 mm springs, 60 mm springs will be crap on standard shocks as well as failing an MOT.

Mine isn't bouncy at all, I think they are only bouncy if the shocks and springs are mismatched.
I'm on Koni adjustable shocks, and when they are on stiff the car literally does not move at all, I've never taken it out like that though
