ias above on my corsa b-sport,im sure its been coverd before but ive read so many ways of people doing it
im using the chris astley fitting kit...new front mount,3 plates on back mount etc but if this kit doesnt actually extend the rear mount (which it doesnt seem too) do i need to extend the linkage...
welding etc not a prob but i just need a good solid way to go about this?

3 plates are spacers so you will need to do so.

okay (i aint put em on yet) that looks like youve extended it by half an inch...am i correct?

You can either extend your current one, or get one that is already made from regal etc.

if all i have to do is extend it as the pic shows above itll be fine (i hope lol) ive read loads of thread on here about people having problems and headaches with this,if i do it as above do i just connect it up as it was? will i encounter any fouling etc?

I can't say how well the extended ones work tbh mate as i use a ready made one from regal. Bt uite a few people just extend theirs so i would imagine it to be pretty problem free if you get the size right.
I'm sure someone with better knowlwdge on extending them will help you out

how much was the regal one? does it allready have the extended metal curve? and just bolt up like a standard corsa one?
from what i understand i fit the whole corsa gear linkage on to my f20?
sorry to ask a common question but its the main bit that worries me

Also stronger than the corsa linkage anyway as its metal rather than plastic and the plastic ones are known to break.

You get a bit less left to right throw if you keep the standard black plastic top bar.
