About 20mins from my house is a abandened RAF base so has a big airfield so every saturday theres loads of young lads in saxo VTR's etc and you see the odd impreza WRX STi and Evo, The police dont bother about them because they are off public roads for a change

Depends on whos timing gear you use and who set it up I guess.
They do a lot of testing of high profile and productions cars so I guess they have access to high quality equipment.
