i have a terrible sqeeking noise coming from the engine bay....i have found out that its the springs which link with the manifold and the exhaust (just under the heat shield in the engine bay).
i know that this area gets fooking hot and so stuff like wd40 would just dry up and be of no use.
is there anything i can put on it to stop it sqeeking but which would with stand the heat.

tighten the bolts up holding te two parts together. they may have come loose and that would cause them tot sqeek believe me

due to the heat and that wouldnt those bolts be abit fragile and could break off if i tighten then too much....

i'm not trying to shoot down kris here but dont use grease or oil coz it'll burn and smell bad, drown with wd to get the bolts off, clean with a wire brush and refit them.

careful the wd40 doesnt catch alight. this can happen
