Has anyone else noticed that, unlike AVG7, it makes the PC sooo slow?

I'm even considering rolling back to AVG7 coz this is crazy! I've been scanned and am clean as a whistle.

i rolled back to AVG 7.5 because i didnt like 8.

The main thing that REALLY annoyed me was the scanning of search engine links.
Good idea in theory, bloody annoying using it.

Actually, yeah it was AVG7.5 I was last using too. I've turned off the linkscanner but its still slow.
