Iv got a 1997 R-reg star silver Corsa and Im thinking about removing the bumpstrips. But the thing is im worried about the colour bieng different underneath, and becuase i dont have any tape I wont be able to put them back on!

Has anyone got a silver corsa (R-reg or older) and removed the bumpstrips? how was the paint underneath??

Cheers!

with it being star silver.its metalic paint so no need to worry.just make sure you heat them up good enough before you remove them.

How would I heat them up? boiling water? or a hairdryer!? I don't wanna fuck the paint up if i do do it!

Has anyone got any before/after pics just so I can see what it might look like?

Cheers!

Personally I prefer them colour coded, which is how mine ended up but only if the rest of the car is colour coded.

I removed mine and underneath, the glue had a reaction with the paint and it's faded. Not enough to annoy me though.
