Is this possible with manifold, De-cat, cat back system and KnN filter?

My mate is under the impression his is 174bhp from these mods along?

Edit: this is the 150bhp standard( apparently 155.6 when rolling roaded previous to mods.)

Are these the focus ST170 lumps, just restricted?

I'm sure I heard some where they are restricted by the exhaust system, in which case, thats a true figure.

It would make sense if they are just a restricted 170bhp lump, restricted by the air box and exhaust, but breathing mods giving 25bhp, i.e 10bhp from a KnN i find

The Fiesta 185 needs this to get to 182bhp

quote:
the Stage 2 pack isn't a simple job, coming with new camshafts and valve springs along with the performance exhaust, high-flow induction system and ECU tweaks of the Stage 1 pack. Even so, the boost from 148bhp to 182bhp costs £1,838, before fitting...

monster, no its a duratech engine, or mazda.

if he has a 4-1miltek manifold then it is a bit over estimated.

I think the head will be restricting the most.

One of my mates has a Fiesta ST tuned by Jamsport, with Cosworth inlet manifold, cams, BMC filter, milltek manifold back exhaust with decat and Jamsport live remap, and that puts out 198 bhp.

we have seen 100's of fiesta st's in our workshop, standard and modified, standard the pre facelift make about 145-150bhp, the facelifed cars make more power, 148-155bhp, some have been known to make more.

cheers for that dave, did you get my u2u?

So basically the ST engine isnt the focus 170 block however he may be right that it is 174bhp with the above mods, it is a 4-1 manifold, not sure on make.
