to settle an argument is their any difference between 1.4 and 1.6 injectors

so if i had a manzel rep box a 4-2-1 manifold 1.6 injectors and a remap would the injectors help it or pointless?

That would sort the fueling out, so they'll just be like 1.4 injectors, so it would be pointless.

no need

1.4 injectors will provide enough cc of fuel for those mods without being near the limit

Depends on the duty cycle of the injectors on the standard 1.4 (most cars run around 65%) I cant see the addition of the Mantzel pushing the injectors passed what they can fuel for! Like you say, you need a remap to get the most out of your mods and the injector duty would be highlighted and rasied as necessary there! Plus, you can add roughly 15% to an injectors capacity with a fuel pressure regulator. I ran my old 200sx 440cc injectors at 95% duty with an SX regulator for months before I upgraded them without a problem.

IIRC the 1.6 ones are 180cc@3bar pressure. 12.0 Ohm

Won't need that much on the 1.4
