when driving if i accelerate a bit,the boost will rise out of -vac upto 0 but won't go past that(won't go into positive boost)yet when i let off it will still dump.have i not set the actuator right?
also when idling for a while every now and then it will smoke for a few seconds then clear or if i rev the engine it clears.does it sound like the turbo selas have gone?

Turbo seals haven't gone. Trust me, you'll know when they do. Day will turn into night

If actator is not turned up enough it will do this, also possibly an air leak some where in small pipes to dump valve or amal valve!!
Its building some boost to dump obviously

grey/blue.pretty sure there is no air leak's anywhere.to set the actuator i moved the arm up the bar untill the waste gate was closed then locked it off there is this the way it should be done?

to set it properly you need to get a boost gauge and take car for a drive and put it under load, it should prbably go up to about 11psi then drop back to 9psi, sounds like yours is not getting anything like that. turn it up the bar a bit mor till it has some tension not too much tho

got a different problem now though.got it to go just over 10psi tonight but it's not once it get's there it's not steady it fluctuates up and down you can feel it and see it on the gauge.also got a miss fire at full boost, you can hear a pop from the exhaust now and again when you have your foot to the floor
