Just wondering what the average sort of time a 4 mile run should take (treadmill)

Technical definition of runnign is a mile every 7 minutes apparently

So 28 minutes

I can do 5 min miles too, your be surprised how quickly marathon runners can consistantly run per mile at!! IIRC a good pro can run a 5 min mile for every mile in the 26

i done the 1500 meters at school in 5min30sec. so add 15 seconds onto that for an extra 100m to make a mile. 5min45....lets round it upto 6 because i legged the last 200. 6mins a mile should be 20 mins

What's the average that Radcliffe can run at? 26 miles / ?hrs. Would be interesting. They said 13mph on the Chris Moyles Show this morning, but not sure if thats accurate!

I have walked 4/5 miles today and yesterday which took me about an hour. I don't think I could be running that far just now

No not many at all...my forte as a nipper was sprinting distances and all the way up to 1500 metres.

Anything above that just bored me to tears...

marathon pace is 12-13mph for blokes, i can only manage about 6mph over 10k, am in the middle of training for a half marathon and want to get two hours or less.

just done another 10k today in 53 mins. beat my PB by another 2 mins. Worked that out at 7.2mph so getting faster as well.
