right! mates got an astra vxr m32 gearbox what he's willing to sell me pretty cheap, only done 15k. will this mate up to a c20let block & what would be need to get it fo fit in my corsa b?

There are a few people looking into this but Ive never heard of it done, if its possible it would certainly make a good alternative to all the 15 year old F28s that cost 300 quid.
I think there are different positions for the starter motor on different M32 gearboxes so Id have a look to see if its the same place as the LET first off. Will be interesting to see how you get on mate

IIRC willay is using an m32 box in his c20let conversion for his C.

custom mounts i'm assuming cause it mounts at the top! uh also I think the m32 has a hyrdrolic clutch not a cable one.

the vxr boxes have cable linkages dont they??? how will you get round that

i would say use the grear linkage from the vxr inc the cable
like you do with golf conversions
