Hello.
My wifes corsa (L reg) has developed an issue with the spark. Its defo not the coil pack or distributor. When you turn the key to ignition position it sparks but as soon as you turn it over the spark stops.
Any ideas are very welcome as it has become a headache. Thanks in advance.

does the engine light flash at you after the car has stoped

is the fuel pump running while your cranking the engine? you might have to put a meter on it to see if its getting power while your turning it over. That will help us say whats wrong

No there are no flashing lights on dashboard. The fuel pump sounds like its working. I took the h/t lead off the distributor and you can see a definate spark when the key is turned to ignition position but as soon as you starting cranking her over the spark stops.

sounds like a wiring problem if its sparking on ignition.

Yeah trying to get a wiring diagram but dont want to buy another haynes, lost my last one during a house move!
