hi, i no this might seem silly but hows best to remove my steering wheel? i am asking because its an airbag one so how do i go about removing it safely?
its on a corsa b, N reg sport

Remove the lead to the batttery for alteast a hour, to stop it going off and to drain all the power.
Then, remove the airbag part and you'll see a big nut, undo that, but not all the way.
Then, pull like fuck (by keeping it done up slighty it wont twat you in the face and wont have a vauxhall badge in print on your forehead)

When the airbag is off, grab a 1/2in extention bar and a big hammer. Make sure that the nut is still on, then put the bar onto the middle bit and wack away with the hammer. It'll pop off nice and easy.

Round the back there is 2 holes. I think it's a T20 bit that you need. The screws don't fall out though. So don't keep on turning for 30mins.

Only need to wait 10 minutes between taking the battery off and unscrewing the airbag.
