But you cant fit a 3 wire one to a single wire car and just connect the signal wire, it wont work right if thats what your trying to do

yes it will
as vauxhall now sell single wire 3 plug 02 sensors for the c16xe
over 2 wires are heater wires, so wont make any difference

I thought if it had a heater it must be connected or the reading is off.
Were talking about fitting a heated lambda to a non heated lambda car?
