Ive got a sony xplod 1200 subwoofer with a 800w built in amp. basically how do you connect it?
all the wires are there but cant get it to work. where do you connect the earth wire to on the amp?? and the wire coming strait from the battery?

there should be termials on the amp for them mate...power cable from battery will say something like "+12v" and earth will be "GND" or similar
