15s are popular as they fit the Corsa style without beign too big, some stretch to 16s but 17 is madness
tyres is all dependant on how much its lowered and and arch work that is/isnt done.
as a general rule you cant go wrong at 40mm drop with 15s on 195/45/15 tyres with CS favourite suggestions either UniRoyal Rainsports or (if you can afford them) Goodyear Eagle F1s

If you have the correct offset (et49)
You can have 16" or 15" wheels and be lowered 60mm with no problems
just put some 195/45/15 or 195/50/15 on the 15s or 195/45/16 on the 16s
Drives supercharged Tec with torque

195/45 profile tyre on a 16 inch rim.
Fill the arches and still allow a drop.

Rear arches were flared out but still scrubbed a tiny bit, they came with the car when i bought it, but then i put the 15's on and then thought they were a tad small so got the 16's
Was very bumpy on the 17's

15" alloys, ensure tyre as 45 profile, the closer to 49 for offset is better, but min is 37 offset, overwise your just going to have problems with rubbing an MOT etc, but i got 15" alloys with an offset of 40 and tyre profile of 45 and my car is lowerd 60mm and doesnt rub.watch out for wheels like wolfrace, normal offset is 35 with them
