Looks nice, good and clean
As said before, the 8v looks more at home in the Corsa, like it's the original engine

I got bored of my standard grille after a bit as well
You can get a de-badged one from LMF, it's a couple of quid cheaper on eBay as well if you have an account. You can stick an Irmy badge on it as well if you like, LMF do kits which is the badge and a mount for it for about a fiver iirc.

I reckon you shuold change it, I kept my original one in the new one's box as well

Both from LMF, what they did when I bought it was they put the badge kit in the grille box and taped it back up
Here it is in mine, you can glue the badge on wherever you want:

True, it looks a bit standard having the slats because it's meant to look the like chrome bit's been taken off, so if you wanted different you could get a honeycomb one:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180252527526
Costs a bit more, though.

Nah i wouldnt like that because that one would look different to the lower bumper grill, which i think looks messy when you start mixing styles
