Has anyone made there own de-cat pipe as im tempted to do this to mine this week as its knackered.

I was thinking about cutting out the cat with my lovely angle grinder, buying some flexi exhaust pipe and clamping it where the cat used to go.

Would this work?

I would do that but I cant weld so I thought this would be the next best thing.

Im assuming it makes the exhaust note louder and i hope it makes it pop between high rev gear changes.

Don't forget to take into account when the time comes for MOT it's likely to fail. And you will need to put the cat back on.
Have you not got enough money for a sports cat?
