remove battery.....remove speedo, remove the speedo cable from the speedo, feed it through the bulkhead....remove it from the gearbox.

Then reverse to fit it

Is there a way of just joining the new speedo end to the old gearbox end and just pulling it all through..

dont think so mate......just replace the whole cable mate...only takes to ticks

I will replace the old cable.

But i mean stick the 2 together, pull from inside the car until the new cable is through..

Because people say its a ballache of a job to do

buy an astra mk3 cable though.....it's longer/easier to feed.
