i want to buy a badgeless grill for my 1997 corsa, but i dont have the new style bumper i have the old one, is there any way of getting around this? can i just cut it out and bolt the new grill in place? or do i have to upgrade my front bumper just to change the grill?

you can cut it out, it would be easier and fit better if you got the new style bumper thou

my mates done it recently and looks smart as long as you dont hack the bumper to bits, he couldnt find a way of attaching the bottom clips so broke them off (he was probs too impatient to work out a way of doing it lol) so its just attached by the two bolts at the top, but holds it on fine you can just move the bottom a bit
