hard wire it ion without goin thrugh the cigarette lighter socket? want it to be nice and tidy but have a switched live, could i run it directly off battery? any help would be much appreciated as it will keep me busy for a few hours! cheers

you could get a distribution block and cut the switched live from the ciggy lighter then split it into two, one for the lighter and power invertor.

that sounds like a good idea, but i dont really want to go risking fecking anything up is there any way i can wire it safely to the battery?
