Cambelt tensioner snapped this morning so time to drop a 1.6 in it i think.
Another problem swaying me towards getting rid of the thing

the tensioner snapped? or did the bolt come loose? wasnt this just rebuilt?

Havent had chance to look at it properly yet but seems like the tensioner is loose.
Yea was very recently rebuilt dave havent had much luck with this corsa since i bought it back which is a shame cus i love the car.

Well after further inspection:
Clutch has gone so im guessing thrust bearing has gone (been making abit of a noise for abit) and the the arm has gone through the clutch plate as the car juddered before it died. Then the jolt has sheered on of the roller bolts then causing the belt to come off.
Conclusion: Its dead

Me.
Its all gone wrong because of the clutch release bearing, been needing to change it since i had the car but been putting it of as i hate taking the boxes off these

Yea was all tightened corectly.
Dont supose u know anyone thats selling a x/c16xe do you lol.
