Just started playing a 7 a-side thing on Mondays. Got some new trainers today, wore them tonight and my heels have been ripped to shreds. I didn't get chance to wear them around the house or anything before I played, any tips to soften the heels up a bit so I don't get crippled next week?

Soak them in hot water, should help soften the leather.

Same sort of thing as my lotto Zhero's. I've tried everything, but they still rip my heels apart

Two pairs of socks is the best advice i reckon.

Pair of those trainer socks (anything else will cut circulation) and a pair of football socks.

I play football upto 4-5 times a week and I used to get evil blisters until wearing an extra pair.

Adidas footwear is narrow. I wore my new Predators for the first time the other day and they squeezed my feet bigtime...they should stretch soon though.

I have Nike Tiempo Natural IC for indoor, very good fit and pretty durable considering the abuse they get.

Depends though, I seem to have too wide of a foot to fit in tiempo's comfortably. Although inside they did feel really nice with my hand
