i have a 1.2 16v corsa b and have just put some 15/45/195's on it.
i would of thought that this would keep the origional diamiter the same as my 14/65's?
i got them on and my car is a bit slower accelerating now. is this just down to the width of the new tyre?

maybe the with of the tyre as there wider there for now friction but that means more grip plus the wieght of the wheel i found this when i put new alloys on my corsa b

thats the benerfit of the wider tyre and lowe profile better grip and less tyre wall roll when cornnering hope you enjoy but don't push it to far next if you want to throw it into the bends get it lowerd

when u lower the corsa does any1 else find that whilst turning fast the wheels will rub on the arches? i have 15" alloys and they are getting torn apart! this might also happen to you.

Depends on the suspension you've got...mine rubs if i hit an undulation in the road whilst piling through a corner.
Smaller wheels are better for acceleration, but the wider wheels will improve handling and braking!

mine caught on standard suspension twice till it took the edge of the plastic trim on the arch on never caught since. i suppose it depends weather you have 45 or 50 profile tyres.
