i melted some wiring on the back of my head unit (god only knows what happened) so i basically need some new wiring going in to power it back up. I need an earth but thats easy but i need two lives one from the cigarette lighter and one from the ignition.
anyone know how too go about wiring this up? as in how i get to the ignition wires and the ciggy wires.

One constant and one switched.
The main thing you need to do 1st is work out why it happened in the 1st place!!!

ciggie lighter has got too be a constant live surley.
what i mean is what would be the best way too take the wires from the wires. shall i cut and bullet connect them putting the two wires into the male connection? This is the easiest and safest way i can think of.
