whats the mot view on sidelights? i may have removed mine for a set of pacecar strobes n then bought some nice LED ones offa ebay n will wire thme into the OE sidelight connectors n fit them in the lower (post 97 bumper) is this legal?

white and they will be on either side of the lower grill on a post 97 front bumper

how are they held there?
are they the standard sidelight bulbs and holders?

yea they do unless there those lights in halfords which some people pretend are fog lights, some can replace or wire up to your side lights

they are going to be wired into the sidelights (turn off and on with them) as i have no sidelight bulbs, due to strobes, if they r white, and facing forward and turn off with the headlight comes on, will the MOT see it that way, oir indeed the happy police?

so your leaving in the strobes?if your not how are you going to block the hole up in the headlight where there ment to be..next there a bitch to wire up some times..next mot will get funny about it, what with wiring and where the lights are going to be placed...with police you going to stick out a bit and make yourself more noticable, you will probs get the fat copper that will put over because he thinks there fogs
