hi mate ive just this you need to fill in the relevent blue section on your v5 i.e engine cc and number, i had to have proof the engine was fitted and had to get a reciept, they changed my tax code, you have to take your current tax disc and they will change it for you mine is now 1850 and the dvla send your log book away for you and about 3 weeks and you get a new one. you need to take proof of insurance, mot, proof on engine fitted to the car,old tax disc and log book with relevent infomation filled in.

If you have insurance for the X14XE already and change to the C20XE, they'll up your monthly payments to reflect the change for a total annual or just pay the difference there and then.
