im putting £10 in a day, covering arounf 30 miles, surely thats not good?
1.4SRI engine, any ideas?

£10 to 30 miles is definitely wrong.
If that £10 was £1.15/litre of petrol, it works out at 15mpg.
There is something wrong.

When I had my Ibiza on Castle Combe doing ACC, I was averaging 24MPG, so 15MPG out of a 1.4SRi is poor.
EML light on? Anthing out of the norm?

lol yes it is on, but thats becasue the f**kin garage snapped a metal thing off the cam shaft, so i need to get new 1 of them too!!!!

Theres your problem, get the fault codes checked. Down on power?
Could be anything to do with Air Flow or the Lambda sensor.

i did post them a bit ago but got no reply, but the metal prong things on the cam shaft is to do with sparking isnt it? not amount of fuel?

Can you give me some ideas on how to repair, quite a few are Voltage... any ideas? could all be linked to one thing? Map sensor last time fixed this i think, but it does cut out sometimes when i press clutch in

Do you mean the lug on the pulley for the camshaft sensor?
