why do you have to wait sooooo long to get stuff off them?!

i passed my test on the 1st august ... still havent got my license ....

My Car is insured, mot'd and now i have to wait 2 more weeks to get it taxed, just because the previous owner lost the original owner form! i sent the green owners slip away 1 week ago aswell just to get the logbook! and i could of used this to get my tax ... whys everything sooo complicated?!

anyone else had to wait a long time for something off the DVLA ?

What?
When you BUY a car you dont have to send anything
You keep the green slip, and the seller sends the logbook off

Edit-Sorry, misread. So the owner lost the logbook?

You still dont need send that clip, just pay for a new logbook.

they shouldnt take any longer than 2 weeks really for your license back, but you can drive without that anyway,just keep your pass certificate on you.
