Hi there
Right my gsi has started being a bit funny out of no where...
It wont idle and when it does it sounds like its running major chunky cams then eventually just cuts out and dies....
Wont take light throttle... But full throttle it goes fine
No engine management light on but has been on before for 2-3 minutes then went off...
Now i removed this sensor ( Pic below ) and it idled at 1000rpm wouldnt really move but when revved just put out black smoke...
Does anyone know which sensors i should try and what is the below sensor?
And where is the idle control valve on this engine? :S

Anyone else got ideas... Ill try the coolant temp sensor

Yeh 95% it will be the CTS.

Fitted cts and it doesnt work...
Any other ideas?
And where is the idle control valve on these engines?

Idel control valve is on the throttle body, upper inlet, expansion tank etc out to get to it
