I have removed the front seats and carpet from my corsa, and now have to remove the sound deadening. When I stripped the back out I used a heatgun, but was just wondering if anyone had any other methods I could try?

Yeah
Where could I get hold of some and roughly how much does it cost?
The front looks like its going to be an even bigger bastard than the rear, due to the contours of the metal

Halfords will sell it I would of thought..
And it'll only cost about £3-£4.
I'm sure your aware, heat the thick stuff up 1st, scrap it off, then spray the tarmac remover onto the body to remove the rest of it. It'll be like it wasen't even there.

I was trying to ring you to see where you got your tarmac cleaner from.

When Mr Monster?
I used auto glym's bug and tar remover. Worked it in with my fingers then with kitchen roll, wiped it all off. Easy as that.

Got most of the sound deadening stripped using the heatgun and paint scraper last night. Ive heard that home heating oil is very good at removing the excess left behind, so might steal some of that off the folks tonight.
