hey,
earlier on i almost purchased some lowering springs for my corsa b, but then i noticed it said i need shortened sports shock absorbers. So what will i actually need to lower it by 60mm? I have seen some kits on ebay for around £110 which are shock absorbers and springs but i dont want to rush into buying just incase it turns out i need something else. So advice please thanks.

Standard shocks bottom out at a 65m drop - that's why people suggest you get shortened/uprated shocks. People have and do put -60 springs on with standard shocks, but it's not comfy by anyones standards!
My advice would be to buy a decent set of shocks; get in touch with Dave A on here...
EDIT: "Standard shocks bottom out at a 65m drop...." IIRC

Some people do, some people don't...if your rear brakes lock up under braking then you probably will have to adjust them

So would it be better for a 40mm drop on the standard shocks? without any problems ?
