Yip, it fires particles round at close to the speed of light, the energy involved means that when they hit each other they will hopefully create currently theoretical particles which they can observe.

Thats the one, it apparently can't do what all the usual greenpeace/firefox wierdos say it can though.

Any blackholes created would disappear within infinitesimally small amounts of time.

Whats the fucking point, I mean come on! All the money spent on that just so some boffins can play with it for a few years trying to create a big bang or sumat.

Fuck off and do sumat usefull, like find a cure for cancer or sumat. Jeez!

Everything is physics when taken down small enough, including diseases like cancer.

All chemistry and biology is only made up of particles explained by physics.

The guys a cern have invented sooo many things that have changed the world

They invented the internet!

And if im not mistaken, there would be no chemotherapy without these guys

Technically, they did and didnt create the internet. the internet (although not as we know it) was created in the cold war by the Americans, the internet you know and love was created by CERN

whats the point? by doing this they could create anti matter (which is fukin expensive, like several hundred billion dollars per milligram.) that created 4x the energy of nuclear power, and that one milligram could power NYC for over a day. it would save the worlds feul crisis... (although its also fukin expensive to make and store)
