Hi guys,
Just wondered if anyone knew what I could expect to pay for this part from the stealership and a motor factors respectively?
And does anyone know the part no?

Vaux charge about £150 for a linkage  You can get them off ebay for about £40 new

£40ish for the part from Vauxhall. Then you will probably just get charged about an hours labour somewhere to fit it. I wouldn't go to Vauxhall though. Probably looking about £65 + vat at a non rip off garage.

I've just got off the phone to my local VX dealer and the repair kit (93183155) is £44.10+vat whereas the whole new linkage is £92.50+vat. Both are modified metal bits so should last.
Will get the reapir kit and get a mate to fit.

The repair kit is just the bushes, buy the metal linkage off ebay its a direct fit and is just the same as the 1 from vaux ive replaced a few now and used the ones on ebay 
Heres a link to where ive used and its a genuine part that vaux want £100+ for also next day delivery

We buy them from Vauxhall all the time, about £30 something cost. £40.20 Retail.

The dealership did tell me that it's extremely common and they open ever seem to sell the repair kits and no-one brings them back complaining that they've not fixed the problem.

That ebay link is the whole linkage you tube not just the bushes, are you blind or somthing?
Ive replaced a few off these now and i can asure you that the 1 in the ebay link is the whole linkage and replaces the whole thing
Im not saying the repair kits dont work im saying that its easyer to replace the whole linkage rather than take it to bits and replace the bushes
Go to vaux ans buy the repair kit then Was only giving advise

Don't call me a tube when you clearly have no idea what your talking about. The 'Repair kit' as its known is the smaller part of the linkage, you can also buy the full linkage which bolts to the subframe, like this one:

the gear linkage was a recall on some corsa models (bout 51 reg C;s) iirc so check before you get it dpne vaux may do it for free

VX told me it wasn't technically a recall but that they replaced problem linkages under warranty which alas, this car no longer is.
