0% knowledge dont even have a clue where to start tbh... how do i go about getting it all legit and registered as its new engine size ?

Send the V5 off with a cover letter explaining the engine change. Tell them the size and engine number

Fill in v5, new engine cc and new engine number and send away, if you are upping the cc then you may have to pay the excess tax if the new engines group is higher, somtimes you may be asked to provide an engineers report to prove the conversion has been done proper
