i dont want to remove mine its just that..........
the silver cylinder above the exhaust manifold has sheared its bolts somehow and is flapping around in the engine bay also it has left a hole that obviously makes the car sound like a tank  , what did you use to block the manifold off with? or did you leave the silver cylinder in situ?

Take the muchroom thing off draw round the bit that it connects to cut a piece of aluminium out or whatever u use and weld it up

if you put an exhaust manifold off a GSI on, it doesnt have the hole

An early GSi wont have the hole for it as flame said, but a late GSi one ill. I just welded the hole up on mine
Edit because I cant spell hole when im hungover

i cut an aluminium plate for it and bolted it on
