I think Pearce would be all right for the new manager, can't see that happening though.

Bilic would be the replacement most people want, but can't see that happening either.

Sorry state of affairs really

fair enough ste, i cant actully argue with you on that

my favorite quotes from today

"The club is fucked allready, put Di Canio in charge, and see what happes"

"Sky sports wants to know what there are no fans outside upton park unlike the newcastle fans who were outside St James park all afternoon yesterday"

10 mins later

"we've had a email from a west ham fan saying the reason theres no fans outside upton park is because were all working"

Premiership is no place to be cutting your managerial teeth no matter how much of a playing legend you are imo.

We don't know how good a manager Keane is yet though, we just know he's good at spending tens of millions of pounds every transfer window

True, suppose hes still on his honeymoon period! I think he'll be alright though, seems to have a good board around him.

Half of our fans would love that

Can't see it personally unless he's severely pissed off at how ungrateful Celtic fans are, which i could understand. I hope not personally, he's been nothing but good for us!

From an outsiders view, I'd agree... my view is he spent willy (and indeed) nilly on named tat (such as Dyer, Neill etc.) and got very little result form it... I dotn know the detail though so they may not ahve been the players he wanted

He did well when he took over at Sun'lan and they were twenty somethingth in the Championship. He got them promoted from that position without spending until he got to the prem, must be doing something right

Yeah he did do well getting them up from the Championship but then that's not cutting your teeth in the Premiership!

Sunderland's position when Keane took over was a false one, created by Quinn. They were no way as shit as the table suggested. Keane has alot to do before he convinces me he is a good manager.

Also, RE: Keane not spending in the CCC. In that season they spent £ 11,200,000
