I had this problem on mine.
What you need to do is get the front of the car up on stands, get underneath and sort of under the gearbox there will be a rod that comes through the bulkhead of the car going towards the front of the car, this should then meet up with cylinder collar with a bolt in the bottom (9 or 10mm i think) which has a bolt going straight up into the gear box. What you need to do is either just tighten the bolt, or the rod has come out of the collar so you need reinsert it and tighten the bolt.
While you do this its helpful to have a friend hold the gear stick in the right position, you say that it drives in second so get a friend to hold the gear stick in your usual second gear position while you get underneath and tighten the bolt or reattach the linkage.
After, just check while the car is stationary that it goes into each gear position properly then try driving it.
Hope that helps

ull need 2 x 5 mm drill bits to line the selector up with the gear stick.
if you put the gear stick to the left in nutruel 2 holes will match up, 1 drill bit slides in there and on the selector at the rear you pull out a plastic bung and fiddle the selector in nutrual untill the other 5mm drill bit slide in then get under the car and tighten the 13mm nut
