hi all am new to here anyways ill explain
i have dropped a c20let from a calibra into my corsa but when i go to fire it up it wants to start then dose start for a few seconds or so then pops a flame from the turbo(where exhaust downpipe bolts onto) also my engine management light is flashing continuesly i have no idea what to do or where to go from here any help welcomed

hi mate i think if you eml is flashing that mean its imobilized

and it sounds like its immobilized, but i didnt think that they ran it on those ecus

yeh some o the ecu's have imobiliser's iirc.mine is a pj and does not have one,what 2 letter code is on your's?

If your starting it without the turbo on does that mean you havent piped up all the inlet pipes too? if the AFM is plugged in then it must be in the flow of air into the engine with no leaks betweek it and the throttle
