okay so about 5 months ago i started a thread and didnt get much help... here goes...
when i baught my car my mfd did not work.. i thought maybe it was the mfd so i got a new one... still no luck... so im thinking maybe it is the wireing... can anyone give me a diagram or tell me some way to get it working... its annoying me having to get out my phone to check date and time. also dont want to get caught with my phone plus it dangerous...
if anyoe can help id really appreciate it

The mfd is connected to everything BTW it could be lots of things it's got about 20 odd wires coming out the back i think? when i was doing wiring to the rally car i remember it was connected to the ecu, airbag, speedo, alarm etc, the best bet is get a whole other wiring loom

can i not bypass anyway?? or a way to tell why it dont work?

as far as i know it got nothing to do with alarm ecu or radio

hmmmmmm i took it to halfords n got my mate to check voltsage n stuff on wires n he got readings so theres something there but for some reason no luck with it

you only need a 12v supply and a earth to make it work the rest of the wires are for the radio display and the temperature

yep.. got some new ones.... then i thought ahh the mfd maybe fked... so tried my mates that works in his car and still no lluck
