A lot of people dont rate them, if you get one be sure to have it set correctly at the rolling road. What have you done to your engine to make you need one?

you wont need a boost valve for the carbs, a "power boost valve" is just a marketing term for an adjustable fuel pressure regulator so you can set your air/fuel ratio at full throttle by adjusting the pressure. may welll benefit you on your spec but there are other regulators out there, might be worth a chat with the guys at the rolling road you will be using to see what they recommend

you will need to know what fuel pressure the carbs can take aswell, if it too high the floats will lift by them selfs and flood the engine.

If you have a unichip fitten you should see 95-100bhp. then you wouldnt need a boost valve because the fuel map will be altered to compensate instead

oh aye, but then wouldn't it be pointless in getting the unichip if it doesn't need it soon after when the carbs are on???

carbs are going on in the next few months so a unichip is pointless. so until i get my carbs what sort of power do you think i will be looking at
