i have a w reg sxi 1.2 16v.
when driving now and then. my car will become slugish then 5 secs later the engine man ligth will come on and the car won't speed up or dwn stays where it is even if foot to the floor then 3o secs later is goes back to normal. but when starting teh car up normal the car hunts ( the revs go up to 1200 revs then gose bk to under 1000 all the time) i have changed spark pulgs fuel fllter oil and fillter and stop useing supermarket fuel. any one can help me?

try running some injector cleaner through such as Redex

Air flow meter is goosed by the sounds of it, its the one by the airbox

also when its revving up to 1.2k revs when you start it, its normal due to the automatic choke

thanks guys i went into vaux and put it on there pc thingy. got a broke o2 sencer on teh manitfold. spark pulgs falty. and a miss fire due to them but teh guy said to change that then cum bk and they retest it. he said the air flow metter and coil park is running perfit. but the incters are week some how. then took it for a test drive adn said rear barings have gone. and rear springs adn cluch is on its way out soon so got a busy week end comming ahead lol .... thanks for u help guys

changed parts wa teh guy said and it still nt right gongi to try a other garge now when i get the time and have a go at him for saying what was wrong with it and putting money out of my pocet.

AFM will bring up codes for the o2 sensor.

teh guy repalced it. and still nt working gonig bk wesnday to have it re tested again to see w aelse it is that cums up.x thanks guys
