I fitted some 2l discs and calipers to my corsa and can't seem to get rid of the spongey pedal. Ive bled the front system so there was no air left but when you push the pedal, it takes a good 3 or 4 times for it to firm up and brakes to work. My car has abs and i thought the front and rear were seperate therefor didn't need to touch anything else but theres obviously air still somewhere. Can anyone advise on what to do next? Cheers

You might have to upgrade the master cylinder also ,your one may not be able to handle the 2L calipers, or you could buy a mitivac bleed system to bleed the brakes that would ensure that its not trappped air related.

Just do them all. It doesn't need much air in it to give a spongy feel.

I blead mine at my mate house, drove home, wasn't too happy, back up again but i had 3 people with me. 1 to pump, 1 to top up and me to open and close the nipples. There were lots of air that came out.

Start again and do the rears 1st, start from the furthest away from the master cylinder and work to the closest. It is plenty big enough for the 2.0L calipers.

Have you got braided hoses and using 5.1 fluid?
