went to use my xbox for the first time ina about 2months switched it on,and all i get is red lights?

its only 10months old, will the shop just replace it

ring microsoft, they will send out someone to pick it up, then they'll fix it and send it back...

if its less than a year old, take it back to the shop (with receipt and boxed up) and get them to exchange it.

I'm just about to take my Elite to gamestation... not even had it 6 months and its already locking up...

I'm just glad when I bought it, I took out a 3 year extended warranty at the same time

And now back with a brand new Elite, swapped it over no problem at all in Gamestation!

New one has a quieter drive too, so its better to play!

Manufacture date is July 2008 if that helps...

FFS As if he wants to start wrapping towels round it That idea is worse than what I posted. Just take it back to the shop pal and get a new one

it was my mates and it was out of warranty and they refused to fix it. I tried the towel thing as it was going in bin anyway and it worked perfect.
