hi all
1.0l 12v - yeah i know not the best engine ok problem of no power stored  air flow sensor faulty so all sorted.
next bit ICV can someone tell me where this is and i what i need to do to clean it as having a problem with tickover. i have carb cleaner to hand also egr valve possition of this too as i think i will clean this too and see what happen
any help with possition of these two or pics  would be really helpful

It's a stepper motor, you need to replace it if it's faulty - it's on the throttle body

find a pic of your engine and i will point it out. as ellis said, when its goosed you will need to replace it.

Thats the idle control motor there mate, you won't fix that with carb cleaner 
Just to the right of the oil cap in the picture - the sort of the cylinder looking thing, thats the EGR on them IIRC

why cant you clean the idle control valve with carb cleaner? they get bunged up and stop working. cleaning them helps
