hi all
can you give me a few pointers?
car has all of a sudden started to be slugish.
putting foot down to the floor doesnt give instant power it feels like the car is pulling back then it goes. its ok on gentle acceleration but feels like it is missing slightly at times.
any ideas? its a standard engine standard air filter.
cheers

Mine used to suffer from problems like this, particularly when idling for long periods of time when the engine is warm i.e. in traffic.

I didn't have an EML either.

New AFM sorted it - I got mine from warren.g! Was brand new, but had been used in a Vauxhall garage to see if the AFM is what was up with another car but it wasn't so he gets them on the cheap.

But yeah, AFM (Air Flow Meter).

Service the car, new oil and filter, new air filter and a set of decent plugs and try that - these respond well to a service.
